Our story
Seeing tourism grow in the area and the lack of a serious company focused on professional, quality transportation, we started on November 27 with our first vehicle: a Toyota Hiace with luxury reclining seats, perfect to draw the attention of hotels, travel agencies and travelers.
After the success of the first unit we added the second and third, consolidating Shuttle Costa Rica as a transportation company in the area, known for punctuality, reliability and good treatment.
A bigger step that marked a new stage for the company and made us better known in tourism, especially among travel agencies in San José.
With the opening of Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia and the arrival of major hotel chains, we grew both our fleet and our staff to meet the demand of this tourism development.
The need to offer tours also grew, so we entered that field little by little, always with small groups and a more individualized service.
How we work
Shuttle Costa Rica is a Guanacaste transportation company that serves hotels, travel agencies and travelers.
Our vehicles and our staff are geared to small groups with a personalized service, from couples and families to larger groups traveling together.
We pick up travelers at Liberia (LIR) and San José airports and take them to the beaches of Guanacaste, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde and Granada in Nicaragua.
As a Guanacaste transportation company founded in 1997, we are known for punctuality, reliability and good treatment. If your flight is delayed, we wait until you arrive.
