Shared shuttle or private transfer

Both include pick-up at the airport on arrival. Pick the one that fits your trip.

Shared shuttle

  • Pick-ups at specific times, once or twice a day
  • Rates per person, per way (minimum 2 passengers)
  • Usually the best option for one or two travelers
  • Pick-up at Liberia Airport and all Liberia hotels

The Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport of Liberia offers excellent international connections to the US and Canada, as well as some European and South American countries. Its expansion brings more arrivals via Liberia year after year.

Frequent questions

What is the difference between a shared shuttle and a private transfer?

The shared shuttle is a more affordable option: it picks up at specific times, usually once or twice a day, and rates are per person. With a private transfer you decide the pick-up time and place and travel only with your group. For one or two people the shuttle is usually the best option; larger groups are often better off with a private transfer.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We offer pick-ups at the airports on arrival, and if your flight is delayed we will wait until you arrive.

Where do you pick up?

All shuttle transfers pick up from Liberia Airport, and pick-up points in Liberia are in all the hotels. Private transfers will pick you up anywhere, including Liberia International Airport.

How are rates calculated?

Shuttle rates are per person, per way, with a minimum of 2 passengers. Private transfer prices depend on the distance between destinations. Write to us and we will send your rate.

How long is the drive from Liberia Airport to Tamarindo?

Driving time between Liberia Airport and Tamarindo is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
